What can I do in Watch Shots?

Watch Shots is where you can download and playback matches or shots. Matches are recordings of complete matches, shots are replays of a single shot. Simply click on a match or shot to download and play back in VP4.

Can I upload my shot and matches?

Any player may record and upload matches and shots. Typically players upload matches of note that may be of interest to the community. The servers automatically record and store any event finals of significance to Watch Shots.

How do I upload a Match?

You can turn on match recording from setup of any Match Play rooms. You can also turn on recording mid-match from the in game menu. When the match finishes, you will be given the option to upload. Only upload matches that are special in some way, like great play, high run, or maybe you finally beat this guy and want the world to see it.

How do I upload a Shot ?

If you play some sort of great shot, you can upload and save that shot. After your glorious shot, press ESC to enter the in game menu and press Save Shot. Then fill in the information for the shot and it will appear on the Watch Shots page.

How do I Play back a Match ?

To play back a match, just click on the match thumbnail and it will appear in VP4. There are DVD player controls at the bottom right of the screen you can use to control playback.

Note that you can't play back a match if you are in a room.

How do I Play back a Shot ?

To play back a shot, just click on the match thumbnail and it will appear in VP4. To play the shot press R (replay) and the shot replays. Use the + and – keys (top row, just right of the numbers) to speed up or slow down the replay. You can replay again by pressing R again. You can view the shot from any angle.

Note that you can't play back a shot if you are in a room.
